This month is special in many ways. We will get a preview of 2020’s global vibration while experiencing the culmination of the current year’s overall themes. An energetic cocktail that can catapult you forward and make you finally look your blind spots square in the eye. It’s also the birth month of my book! More on that at the end of this blog post.
October wants you to move your focus forward beyond your current reality.
Things that weren’t at all possible at the beginning of this year have materialized and become new anchor points. It can feel like you have jumped ‘timelines’ and are suddenly on a new path with a trajectory you didn’t plan for. Spend some time this month asking yourself what the new plan is.
The global vibration is fully supportive of multiple seemingly impossible goals and dreams being spoken into reality.
Trust the process. Trust that you’re exactly where you need to be. Pay attention to the people who’ve moved in and out of your life this year. Some meetings and exchanges have been short but extremely impactful. Old friends and connections might have shifted from your inner to your outer circles. Trust that this is how it’s supposed to be for now. Pursue new ideas and interests that have knocked on your door.
2019 has nudged you repeatedly to take responsibility for your own life in ways and areas that you didn’t realize that you were giving your power away.
This new status quo is freeing you from the burden of blaming others for your past or current challenges. Acknowledge that you're now free to move on from the version of you that was reacting to past hurt and reliving old stories.
An undercurrent of the yearly theme has to do with quality and the universe's sense of (dark) humor.
When you perform repetitive tasks and find yourself in all-to-familiar scenarios, thinking you know every step involved, you can default to a sort of autopilot-living and miss the opportunity to deepen the quality of your interactions and experiences.
This year has tinkered with the dials and tried to push you to look at the quality of all these interactions. The quality of your life is found in your presence in each moment and the continually deepening understanding that happiness is an inside job.
Being able to laugh, forgive old patterns and ways of thinking is the key to return to the moment you’re in right now - which is ever-evolving and expanding.
Being a ‘woke’ and conscious human being who's alive today can come with a great sense of sadness, confusion and extreme sensitivity to the major challenges that we face as humans.
Yet becoming depressed, cynical, aloof or overly critical of the future will never serve you or the world. Having a sense of humor and understanding the immense power you have to influence and create ripples of change in your communities is the antidote to the paralysis your compassionate heart can put you in.
October will show you how fast a solid point of view can become an antiquated opinion. Allow yourself to grow and change standpoints as you invite in a sense of ease and trust that your actions matter.
