This is the third in a series of six posts on the phases of a name change through numerology.
The transformation that happens when you leave an inharmonious name behind and get a harmonious name that fully supports your essence = birthday can't be boiled down to just a few blog posts. Yet it can be helpful to know the general patterns and waves of what is going to happen and that you're 'on schedule' in your journey.
THE THIRD PHASE: THE RELEASE
The Release is a natural and inevitable result of the name change. The majority of the Release takes place the first 3-12 months after the legal name change. Phase three and four overlap because you're simultaneously releasing the old and incorporating the new. Read the next post in the series for insights into the fourth phase.
The Release lasts 3-6 Months for kids, 0-10 years old and 6-8 months for adults. The primary Release can in certain cases take up to 12 months.
The third phase is untangling and liberation from old patterns. This process is bound to bring up old memories, people and thoughts. The longer you’ve carried your old name, the more it will have a hold on every part of you. Heavy vibrations can take time to let go. This dismantling is needed to make space for the new supporting vibrations. Energetically you are getting a thorough spring-cleaning. The Release is happening simultaneously on all levels. Everything in your old numeroscope is being released.

Everything that is ‘making noise’ in your life at this time is asking for your attention to change. It is showing you different ways of dealing with challenges.
This process can be as easy or as hard as you wish to make it. The universe will hit replay on a number of well-known, low vibrating scenarios. Some people and situations will detach by themselves, others will throw minor tantrums while being released. Just watch the show, don’t engage unless you want to. Know that whatever leaves you is making space for something better to take its place. All changes in the Release are needed to clear make room for new things. All is well. Allow your perception of the world to be adjusted.
This process is about soul, karmic, and ego connections. Everything on your path is a gift; some things might come in ugly wrappings.
