November has arrived with full on autumnal glory. If you’re in the northern hemisphere then the days are seriously getting shorter and we spend more and more time inside, huddled around the fire…err I mean our phones and laptops. It’s been an intense year and the last two months are no different!
In this forecast, I’ll go through November's new global vibration but also spend some time on Venus in retrograde. Venus has us testing our beliefs and memories around love and close relationships and has been retrograde from October 5th – she’ll head directly on November 16th. Since Venus only goes retrograde every 18 months she doesn’t get as much attention as Mercury – the ruler of communication that likes to go through the archives several times each year. Read my yearly forecast here. Now back to the ruler of love. Venus makes us visit the ex-files. Old flames can reappear; old patterns in love can show up to get released. If your current relationship is rocky there is a chance that you’ll get to the ‘break it off or finally go all in’ point. As Venus rules the sun signs Taurus, Libra and the base number 6 you’ll feel this retrograde more intensely if your birthday is within their domain. Back to Venus in retrograde which will unearth any unhappiness or lingering doubts we have when it comes to home, living situations, close relationships, self-love, self-care, and even our own roots and where we belong in this world. Love is where it starts and ends when it all comes down to it. Do you truly love your job, your path, your friends or significant other? Are there areas where you’re holding back from investing your whole heart into something? Are you holding out on others? More importantly, are you holding out on yourself? As we are always, in every moment of our life, worthy of the full force of our own love and acceptance there is no need to withhold that. Ever. Venus is asking you these potentially life-changing questions: What would happen if you loved yourself completely? What choices would you make? What would life look like and how is it different from how you’re living right now? What needs would you anticipate and meet before they became black holes of disappointment or hunger? What would you give yourself permission to do? What would you cheer yourself on about? What would you erase your own doubts about? How would you structure your days? Or how a completely head over heels lover would move heaven and earth for the one they love? How would you celebrate your victories? How would you take care of yourself through any setbacks and hurt? How would you make sure that you felt the power of your own love each day? If anything aches inside this month or shows up in other people’s behavior as dysfunction, ask yourself how radical self-love would change the situation for the better. It was never between you and them anyway.” To sum up Venus in retrograde - don't close your heart because of something that happened in the past or the love of the future will have nowhere to live. Now let’s get on with the vibration of November. There is a decidedly sensitive yet innovative and healing energy present this month. It can feel like you can reach out and touch tomorrow at times this November. As if ideas more readily materialize in front of you and solutions to your problems suddenly don’t seem so far away. Don't be fooled though. While seeing is believing and can lead us to think that things are happening - you need to keep taking inspired action for your ideas to become solid and build-able. Make sure that the ideas you move on this month are the ones you truly want to pursue and that you don’t spread your attention or resources too thin. Follow through. Lay down the foundation first. This month also has an air of healing and reconciliation. If there are areas or relationships that need mending, make sure that actions follow words of reparations. Mark your calendar! We have a beautiful portal of light on November 11th with the code 11.11.11. While every year we see the 11.11 code, it’s amplified in 2018 as the year carries the 11/2 vibration within. This day is ripe with activation and the energy of awakening. There is a call within to step through any gates or thresholds you’ve been on the verge of crossing. You have processed enough. Step into the light of what is calling you. Know that you’re on the right path. Taking the right steps. Learning the right way and calling in that which is meant to find you. Meditation on this day could yield powerful insights. Setting intentions for the next part of your life on this day will be supported. This could be a very creative month where the missing puzzle pieces show up and start fitting together. If you have been racking your brain or felt like ‘why am I not getting any traction on this!’ November could show you the tweaks you need to make or a mindset shift that changes everything. A creative solution to any problem is within reach. You could feel the final push to get out of a bad situation or feel the winds of change and want to physically relocate to somewhere that feels like a more loving place to call home.
